We're back!

Well, first I have to say sorry for sucking so bad at blogging! I don't know how people keep up with this. But I am going to try harder!

Now for the important stuff.... Dayton is 9 months old today! I Can NOT believe this! Where does the time go?! I have loved every single minute of these 9 months, he is such a sweet boy, I could not ask for anything better! Some of his latest:

• Sucking on his pointer finger

• Army crawling machine

• Loves his sippy cup

• Prefers the cool tile over carpet

• Smiles all day everyday at everything!

• Favorite thing to play with: springy door stop

• Still loves his lotion rub downs

• Two bottom teeth

• Likes to sneak his way under a certain side table in the living room

• First thing he goes for when daddy gets home: smelly gym bag

• Little screamer (he loves to hear his voice)

• Plank pro

• Trying new foods everyday, and of course loving it all

• Sitting so well in his high chair

• He sticks to his nap schedule like clock work (thank you)

• Feet hang over his car seat, and he kicks the back seat of the car wherever we are going

(think it's time for an upgrade)

Dayton, thanks for always making the mornings easy on me by letting me wake up to the sound of sweet coos and smiling when I get you out of your crib, for entertaining yourself so easily so I can attempt to get things done,  for loving your car seat from day one so it was a piece of cake to take you places, for smiling when I get a little frustrated to remind me that it not that big of a deal, for letting me feel your love through your soft cuddles. Thanks for letting me be your mommy-  Dayton we love you so much, you are such a happy sweet little spirit and we could have never hoped for a better baby! 

Happy Nine Months

Chris and Michele had their sweet little baby boy Knoxx Arnold Finlinson 9lbs 5oz 22 inch long on 8-12-11. So happy for them and their new life as parents! Its worth every minute guys! 

Whistle my name

 

The last couple days Stephen has discoverd Dayton LOVES when you whistle to him, he just gets the biggest smile on his face. Especially when it is has the same syllables as his name. He is changing so much and so fast! It is so fun! I love my little guy so so so much. He is such a good baby, and if anything he keeps me entertained all day instead of the other way around!

Sorry I wish I could film him while I whistle to him, we dont have a video camera yet. Hopfully we get one soon, I feel like I am missing so many cute things to catch on film!

Stephen and I had a great Valentines Day together.  It was low key, cause we did not want to go out in all the crowds. But it was the best time we have had in a while.

I had a candle lite dinner ready for stephen when he got home from work. We had sweet and sour chicken with pineapple on white rice, green beens and a yummy roll. It was much more delicious than it looks in the picture.

Stephen made me a card at work that day. It was so thoughtful! I did not know he could be SO creative.

Dayton's First Valentines Day. He has a few Valentines himself. One from Uncle Chris and Aunt Michele, and another from his little friend Aurelia. So cute.

Just about to dig in to some chocolates that I got for Stephen.

I love the way you make me feel pretty. Even when I know I am not at the moment. haha.
I love just hanging out on the couch with you. Does not matter what we are doing, we always have the best time.

Happy Valentines Day!

Why so pouty?

Dayton gave us the pouty lip for the first time last night. We were watching a little video clip of our new niece Harper when she was born. In the video Harper started to cry and when he heard that he pulled out his cute little pouty face. Stephen and I could not get over how cute it was. It was hilarious. We love out little guy!

*Let's Go 2/7/11*

Welcome Harper Sunshine Finlinson! Our sweet little niece was born on 2/7/11 at the Universty of Utah Hospital. She weighed in at 7lbs 90z and 21 inches long. She is such a little doll!

We are so excited that this sweet baby girl is finally here! She is so loved by all her family and friends and we could not be more thrilled that she is in our lives!

3 months 

Dayton is 3 months old today! I can not believe how the months have gone by. He has been such a joy in our lives. It is so fun to see him growing and learning everyday.

Things Dayton loves: smiling, swinging in his swing, sleeping, baths & getting his hair washed, his new toys, his face tickled, getting a lotion rub down, his car seat, cuddling with Mommy, cooing, listening to music, his books, his boppy pillow, hanging with his Daddy. 

Dayton is such a good little guy. I really have nothing to complain about. I feel very blessed and lucky to have him! We love him to pieces.
